Echoism Brows™: The new shape of designer eyebrows

Echoism Brows™

Echoism Brows™ is a new proprietary process for creating designer eyebrows that I have been developing and perfecting in our eyebrows salon in Sydney. This is a technique for eyebrow shaping and styling that requires a very high level of knowledge about brow shape and technical skill in creating that shape. It takes extra time to execute the level of perfection required to create Echoism Brows™, but I have found, with this goal in mind, the results are truly special and unique.

Designer Eyebrows and Facial Symmetry

The word echoism is used in art and beauty to describe facial symmetry. The theory is that the more symmetrical a face the more beauty we perceive. If you Google the words echoism and photography you will find some very interesting experiments by artists who have taken a face and made both sides symmetrical. The difference is quite significant.

Shaping your eyebrows and creating that symmetry is a step in that direction. I find that over time my VIP clients who come to me regularly to perfect their eyebrows, whether through shaping, tinting or cosmetic tattoo, create a more radiant appearance. In my opinion this is not so easy to achieve in one session, although progress will certainly be made towards more symmetry after a single eyebrow session. The interesting thing is that our faces are always changing and shifting due to stress, time of day, of the month, sun, exercise, level of relaxation and even botox injections. All these things see subtle changes in the balance of our facial features.

Evolving Eyebrow Design

Of course there is a comfortable resting place that we settle into. So this is why I always prefer to work on eyebrows over time, each visit revealing a slight adjustment to be made for optimum effect. There is also the extra consideration of our own personal feelings of what works for us. Often a client will live with his or her new brow shape for a week or more and then decide they want to extend further or aim for a higher arch, etc. These ideas come from living with our brows and understanding the effects that changes in shape and colour can make. It is fascinating, this element of creating illusions with color, shape and balance to conceal or accentuate what we desire to create the optimum effect.

What are the elements we look for when creating Echoism Brows™? Balance is very important and we can even correct eyes that are not aligned, making a slighter higher eye appear lower. With color we can create a sense of expansion or contraction depending on how it is used. In other words, we can narrow or broaden the face using color. Eyebrow shape can also make a nose appear smaller or a face appear shorter and less elongated. All kinds of optical illusions can be created by changing the shape of the brows if your esthetician or cosmetician is not just a technician but also an artist who understands the elements that go into something as subtle and powerful as Echoism Brows™.

It can be fun and inspiring to develop our designer eyebrows, and with the help of permanent makeup much can be achieved now that previously wasn’t possible. As the technique of cosmetic tattoo matures and the technicians continue to perfect their craft, we can truly use our artistry for greatest benefit.

This is the background from where my new designer eyebrows technique called Echoism Brows™ comes. It is the culmination of many years of perfecting my craft and my eye for brows and beauty in general. I see the transformation that can occur with the subtlest of changes in something as seemingly insignificant as an eyebrow or set of eyebrows. But the the entire field of echoism is proof that beauty is indeed living within these details.
